The magnificent modernist dairy designed by architect Leo Dierickx, originally from Leuven, was built in 1941 and belonged to the Maatschappij Zuivelfabriek Soetemans-Freys. In 1950, the dairy was sold and in 1951 it was bought by the Grand Pont sugar factory. After years of disuse, the complex was purchased in 1993 by Viviane and André Vossen.
