THE STORY
Our wine business is the vibrant result of a legacy stretching back generations. Founded by the grandsons of Joseph and Marcel – Jef and Marc – the torch of passion for wine has now been passed on to Marcel’s great-grandson Kasper, who joined our business in 2021.
THE PHILOSOPHY
Our collection has been carefully curated from wines that we fully endorse: flavour, development, terroir, production process and the winemaker. Every element is essential when selecting our wine estates, and we can’t wait to share these gems with you. Our wines, available via our online shop, are imported directly. We maintain close ties with the wineries and their passionate winemakers. Families, history and terroir form the beating heart of our wine business.
Kasper Huon
‘The “La Stella” from “Marco Bonfante” ranks highly on my list of favourite red wines (a lovely entry-level wine). The “Barolo Rocchettevino” from “Ciabot Berton” is, in my opinion, a truly top-class wine.’
Marc Huon
‘I still can’t resist ‘Lady Brigitte’ from ‘Eerste Hoop’, a successful South African take on a Rhône blend. I also consider ‘Albarone’ from ‘Marco Bonfante’ (Piedmont) to be a truly outstanding wine: it is a single-varietal wine made from the Albarosso grape (an old hybrid of Barbera and Barolo).’
